A team of NYU researchers is conducting a study into the effect of psilocybin on alcohol dependence. Dr. Sarah Mennenga, a member of this team, will share a firsthand look at this groundbreaking research that aims to determine whether psilocybin-assisted treatment produces rapid, substantial and sustained reductions alcoholism and addiction and improvements in quality of life, as well as increasing understanding of how the psilocybin experiences bring about persisting positive change.
