Flashback to 1987!   Wow, has it really been 30 years since we made way to the stage at The Oil Palace to accept our diplomas?  Let’s celebrate each other and our accomplishments over the last 30 years.  The Robert E. Lee High School Class of 1987 Reunion Committee invites you to come and celebrate our 30th high school graduation.     TWO GREAT EVENINGS have been planned!      Meet & Greet Gathering for Drinks, Food, Photographs and Socialization  When: Friday, June 23, 2017 Where: Jennifer Murphy Adams' home in Tyler, TX. Time:  7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Theme:  TOTALLY 80'S (dress 80's but not required, just come and have fun) Who Can Attend: All graduates and spouses/partners (21+)!  What to Bring: Your paper ticket.  Any liquor/drinks you want to consume, this is a BYOB event.  Light finger foods will be provided.       LaCava Room at The Cascades for Drinks, Food, Photographs, Dancing and Socialization  When: Saturday, June 24, 2017 Where: La Cava Room at The Cascades Golf & Country Club Time: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM Who Can Attend: All graduates and spouses/partners (21+)! What to Bring: Cash for the cash-bar, your HS memories along with your dancing shoes to have a good time.           All graduates of the Class of ’87 and their spouse/partner (21+) are invited. Please encourage your friends to attend!               We look forward to celebrating with you all!        FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?          As this is an adult only event, 21+ is the requirement. Can I just buy a ticket for one night only?          The REL ‘87 Reunion events have been packaged together to include both night's activities. Do I need to buy a ticket for myself and any guest I bring?          Yes, the ticket cost is per person. The cost includes activities for both evenings. What is included with the purchase of the event ticket?          Friday – Meet and Greet Gathering ~~ Light finger food, photographs and socialization.           Saturday – LaCava Room at The Cascades ~~ Dinner and Dessert, DJ playing 80’s music along with other requests, photographs and a Cash Bar.          Saturday Dinner Menu - Fajita Buffet        Beef & Chicken Fajita Meat Flour Tortillas Sautéed Medley of Peppers Zesty Spanish Rice Charro Beans Fresh Cut Tortilla Chips Served with Salsa Sour Cream & Black Olives Guacamole & Pico de Gallo Dessert - Raspberry Cheesecake Chimichangas drizzled with Raspberry Sauce Freshly brewed Coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee and Iced Tea What is the dress attire for the events?           Attire for Friday night is definitely casual.  Attire for Saturday Night is business casual.  This event is “less formal” than our prior reunions.                Women:  Casual Dress, Skirt and top, Slacks or tasteful jeans and top             Men:  Casual button-down shirt, open-collar or polo shirt and slacks or tasteful jeans Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?          Yes, but only to the Friday night Meet and Greet Gathering. There will be a reminder sent to you prior to the event, along with the map to Jennifer Murphy Adams' house for the event.  No printed ticket is needed for Saturday night, check in will be completed electronically.  Will there be a photographer at the event?            Yes! Actually the photographer will be at both events taking pictures.  The photographer will take the Large Group photo on Saturday night, promptly at 7:30 p.m. prior to dinner being served, please arrive on time so you can be in the photograph.  The photographer will be roaming the venues taking photographs.  The best part is that all of the photographs will be uploaded to the internet and everyone will have access to the pictures that were taken both evenings.  You may then print or repost the pictures as you want.   There will be no extra cost for the photographer or the pictures taken; this price is included in your ticket price.   Will the DJ accept song requests?            Yes!  DJ Shane Payne will play songs that were popular and familiar to our class ranging from the years 1985-1988, however he will also play requests.  If you have specific songs you would like to hear, you can email those to the class email at  How do I get to the Friday Night Meet and Greet Gathering?          After you purchase your event ticket and email will be sent out approximately 2 weeks prior to the event with a map to Jennifer Murphy Adam's house.    Why is the Meet and Greet at a classmate's home?       First and foremost to keep the price of the ticket down, Jennifer Murphy Adam graciously offered her home for this event.  In the past Meet and Greets have taken place at a local bar, thus classmates incurring additional fees. This is a BYOB event to keep the costs down.    Is my registration/ticket transferrable?          The only tickets that are transferrable are the donation tickets. In the event that you purchase a donation ticket for someone specific, please email the class email at with the details immediately following the purchase. When emailing in the subject line please write “DONATION TICKET INFORMATION”.  Otherwise, the donation ticket will be given to an anonymous class member. Your contribution will go acknowledged during the reunion, if you should so choose. Due to the sensitive nature of the donation, the receiver will remain anonymous.   What is the refund policy?          All sales are final.  If the event should be cancelled, you will be notified and refunded.    The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?          The only time a name should not match is a donation ticket prior to it being given away. Please be sure to fill out the names of the individuals attending on the ticket.   Can I update my registration information?         If you need to update your registration information please email the class email,, denoting in the subject line “CHANGE TO REGISTATION INFORMATION”.    Why is there an option to make a donation to the Class?          Donations are being accepted to replenish the class reunion account.  It is always good to have some “seed” money for future reunions.  Planning and organizing reunions does not come cheap.    How can I contact the organizer with any questions?          Please feel free to contact the organizer via email or if you feel more comfortable communicating your concerns through Facebook please do so at our group page entitled “Robert E.
