Make It Take It- Max Lamb DIY Chair

Make It Take It- Max Lamb DIY Chair
Event on 2017-08-19 10:30:00
London-based furniture designer, Max Lamb, is known for his simple and smart designs.  He wanted to create functional furniture that could be made by everyday people using a single material and a simple construction method.  In 2008, Max created the DIY chair. This chair is made of 31 pieces of wood that are exactly the same size and is assembled using screws.  You don't want to miss this workshop!  The chair design is based on the concept of a standard building block that can be assembled in almost infinite configurations.  Once you have learned how to make this chair, the options for other pieces constructed using the same methods are endless!   NOTE:  A couples ticket allows one chair to be made by two people. If you would like to purchase a singles ticket and they are sold out but there are still couples tickets, or if you would like to purchase a couples ticket and they are sold out but there are still singles tickets, we may be able to accommodate you. Just call or email to inquire. Please review all details below, including the cancellation policies, before committing to a workshop. No prior wood working experience is necessary. All of our woodworking workshops are 18+.
