April: “Gather” Based on the Worthington Green Early settlers constructed their communities around a central gathering area.  The town of Worthington originated with a group or people from Connecticut who centered their new community around the Village Green.  Today this space continues to be a gathering place for the community, and includes a school, two churches, and a Veterans’ Memorial, as well as an open green space.  The bell, which the original settlers brought with them and used to call the community together, currently hangs in the bell tower of the school. Columbus, Ohio, is a treasure trove of architecture, design, and history that reflects the generations of people who have lived and worked together to create a unique community.  This Block of the Month series consists of a dozen designs that are inspired by the unique features of our city.  Regardless of your geographical location, we hope you find inspiration in these designs.
